Hope Ignites is the catalyst that empowers young people to achieve their full potential. Through our voluntary, application-based program, we support motivated young people, affectionately known as our "scholars," in need through middle to high school, post-secondary education, and career launch. The Hope Ignites Network includes more than 250 team members and 300 volunteers who work together to serve over 1,250 young people each year. We work with youth across twelve U.S. affiliates and two in Latin America.
Job Summary
The Salesforce and Data Insights Analyst plays a dual role at the intersection of platform administration and organizational intelligence. This position is responsible for maintaining and expanding the Hope Ignites Salesforce ecosystem while developing clear, compelling data visualizations that support data-driven decision making across the organization.
This role serves a broad internal audience — from leadership and program staff to fundraising and development teams — translating complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Salesforce administration experience alongside a genuine interest in data storytelling, with proficiency in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the tools and data they steward, proactively identifies opportunities to improve how information flows through the organization, and is excited to grow in both platform expertise and data craft. Salary Range: $66,000 – $70,000



Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration
- Serve as a primary Salesforce administrator, managing user accounts, profiles, roles, and permission sets for an organization of approximately 300 employees
- Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, flows, and validation rules Triage and resolve Salesforce support requests from team members across the organization
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Support system integrations and third-party applications connected to Salesforce
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits, deduplication, and data quality initiatives
- Document configurations, processes, and system changes to support ongoing knowledge management
- Collaborate with external Salesforce and Tableau partners on projects, serving as an informed internal point of contact who comes prepared and uses partner time purposefully
Data Visualization & Analytics
- Identify opportunities to expand and optimize the Salesforce ecosystem to better support organizational needs
- Participate in technology initiatives and platform improvement projects
- Participate in projects with external technology partners, coming prepared and contributing effectively to make the most of each engagement
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, applying relevant updates proactively
- Actively explore and apply AI-enabled features within Salesforce and Tableau to improve efficiency, surface insights, and enhance the quality of our data work
- Contribute to the development of internal training resources and knowledge base documentation
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable digging into a Salesforce configuration challenge and crafting a dashboard that makes data immediately legible to a non-technical audience. The strongest candidates will bring technical depth, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help the organization use its data well.

Qualifications
Required
- 2–3 years in a Salesforce-focused role within a nonprofit environment
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Tableau, Power BI or similar tools
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into clear, decision-ready visualizations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing CRM data, including imports, deduplication, and data quality practices
- English language proficiency (written and spoken)
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) Strongly preferrred
- Tableau experience specifically (preferred over Power BI)
- Salesforce Administrator certification or advanced certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder)
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or similar data visualization certification
- Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
- Familiarity with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, or other automation tools
- Experience with data integration tools or connecting Salesforce to external data sources
- Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken)
