About Us

Hope Ignites is the catalyst that empowers young people to achieve their full potential. Through our voluntary, application-based program, we support motivated young people, affectionately known as our “scholars,” in need through middle to high school, post-secondary education, and career launch. The Hope Ignites Network includes more than 250 team members and 300 volunteers who work together to serve over 1,250 young people each year. We work with youth across twelve U.S. affiliates and two in Latin America.

Position Overview

Hope Ignites is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented alumni to serve as a Summer Intern to support alumni engagement and data efforts in preparation for our 50th Anniversary. We are especially interested in a someone who can bring a personal connection to the work and help strengthen relationships across our alumni network.
This role is ideal for a current Hope Ignites collegian or recent graduate who is organized, enthusiastic, and passionate about giving back to the Hope Ignites community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support outreach efforts to reconnect and engage alumni across affiliates
  • Assist in planning and executing alumni engagement initiatives tied to the 50th Anniversary
  • Collect, update, and organize alumni data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Help develop and track engagement metrics and outreach progress
  • Contribute to storytelling efforts by identifying and capturing alumni stories and experiences
  • Support communications, including emails, newsletters, and social media content

Working Conditions

Candidates have the option to work remotely. For candidates in St. Louis, they will have the option to work hybrid, remotely and at Network Headquarters.
